Joel Shohei
Born and raised in Saitama, Japan.
At the age of 18, he moved to the United States and trained extensively in Los Angeles, focusing on dance and the performing arts.
After returning to Japan, he joined a talent agency and launched his career as a professional model and dancer.
He has performed as a backup dancer for renowned artists, including Fujii Kaze, appearing in numerous live tours and performances.
He made his acting debut in the musical The New Prince of Tennis and has since expanded his career into advertising, film, and stage productions.
Continuing to grow as a multifaceted performer, he strives to reach new heights in the entertainment industry.
A passionate fan of Shohei Ohtani—who shares the same name—he draws daily inspiration from Ohtani’s “two-way” legacy, pursuing his own path in entertainment with a unique “two-way style” of dance and acting.
ジョエル・ショウヘイ 埼玉県出身。
18歳で単身渡米し、ロサンゼルスにてダンスを中心としたエンターテインメントのトレーニングを積む。
帰国後、芸能事務所に所属し、モデル・ダンサーとしてのキャリアを本格的にスタート。
藤井風をはじめとするトップアーティストのバックアップを務め、数々のライブツアーやパフォーマンスに参加。
その後、ミュージカル『新テニスの王子様』への出演をきっかけに俳優としてもデビュー。
現在は広告、映像作品、舞台など幅広い分野で活動を展開し、表現者としてさらなる飛躍を目指している。
同じ“ショウヘイ”の名を持つ大谷翔平の熱烈なファン。
彼の二刀流に毎日刺激を受けながら、自身も「ダンスと演技の二刀流」でエンターテインメント界に挑み続けている。
